Update on Assignment 3
So if you were to read on my previous blog, all the ideas and introductions were all there. If you haven't check it out, do read my previous blog before continuing!!!
YES, IT’S FINALLY AN UPDATE AND A BETTER VERSION!!! After the success of the first operation, my friends and I decided to make it even better. Why not include a heart monitor and an audio detector in case we make too many errors? I mean reality there should be no errors in an operation room but comeon kids? fun?
Introducing the 3 software used:
They are Scratch, VDMX, and TouchDesigner. Not so kids-friendly software except Scratch. A little more background on VDMX, is a program that lets you assemble custom real-time video processing applications as for TouchDesigner, is a node-based visual programming language for real-time interactive multimedia content, developed by the Toronto-based company Derivative. It’s been used by artists, programmers, creative coders, software designers, and performers to create performances, installations, and mixed media works.
This was the setup for our final presentation. Additional stuff included are projectors and proper lighting.
It was an interesting journey creating a mini-game for kids, to learn. I surely did not regret taking this module of installation art. Hope you guys enjoy reading my blog! Don't forget to read my other projects too!
